Every crown we offer is strong and durable. The choice often comes down to the final look and cost.

Paying for your dental crown

Patients can spread the cost of their crown using 0% finance over 12 months, which means you can pay £61.66 per month with no additional interest. That said, if you choose to pay a £200 deposit at your appointment, you can reduce your monthly payments to £45 per month.

Same-day crown placement for nervous patients

Porcelain crowns

If you’ve opted for a CEREC crown, you can have this placed within an hour and go home without the need to return.

Your dentist, for example, Dr Blythe, will begin by administering a local anaesthetic and filing your tooth down to the correct size and shape to accommodate the crown.

Instead of taking an impression, the dentist will capture a digital scan of your tooth and transfer the data to our CEREC® restoration milling technology.

The milling machine will fabricate your bespoke-made porcelain crown while you wait. Once it’s ready, we can fit it for you there and then.

Metal-based crowns

Patients opting for metal-based crowns will be required to return to the practice two weeks later after it’s been made to have it fitted by a specialist laboratory.

On the day of your crown appointment, impressions will be taken of your prepared tooth.

Our dentists will then place the metal crown over your prepared tooth, checking it for a proper fit before permanently sealing it in place with a dental adhesive.
